Senior Apple Platform Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Apple Platform Engineer to lead the development of a multi-device spatial computing system. This role requires senior-level experience designing Apple platform applications and complex system integrations. You will be responsible for a system that includes a native Vision Pro application and an iPad operator console, both integrating with existing telemetry and control APIs within a rack-based system infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Apple Platform Application Development
Design and implement native Apple platform applications using modern frameworks including Swift, SwiftUI, visionOS, RealityKit, and AVFoundation.
Vision Pro Development
Develop the native spatial UI for system visualization, video stream rendering, diagnostics overlays, and spatial interaction controls.
iPad Development
Develop the iPad operator console, including telemetry dashboards, per-stream diagnostics views, operator control interfaces, and system health indicators.
System Integration
Integrate both applications with existing telemetry and control APIs by consuming REST APIs from rack-based infrastructure and implementing networking layers using Swift concurrency.
Real-Time State Management
Develop robust application state models to handle live telemetry updates, operator control actions, and synchronization across multiple devices while maintaining system stability.
Leadership
As the Senior engineer, you will oversee the system architecture and cross-device state synchronization.
