Senior Full Stack Engineer
Overview
We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a product development team building core features for a fast-growing healthcare technology platform. You will work across the stack — Go services on the back end, Angular on the front — and set the technical standard for a growing team.
This is a contract-to-hire role. You join as a W2 employee of Arsenal AI working full-time on the client's engineering team, with a path to convert to a full-time role with the client based on performance and business need.
US Citizenship is required for this position.
What You'll Do
Full Stack Delivery
Ship features end to end, from PostgreSQL data models through Go services to Angular UI.
API Design
Design and build RESTful APIs that power the platform and its integrations.
Technical Direction
Make architecture decisions and improve development workflows for long-term scalability.
Code Review & Mentorship
Review code and mentor engineers across the stack to maintain high standards.
Production Support
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability across the platform.
Agile Delivery
Participate fully in sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
What We're Looking For
- •5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- •Strong backend experience in Go, or deep backend experience in a comparable language with a commitment to working in Go.
- •Front-end experience with Angular, or a comparable framework such as React or Vue.
- •Experience designing and building RESTful APIs — not only consuming them.
- •Cloud experience (AWS preferred) and a solid grasp of system design and relational databases.
- •Experience reviewing code and mentoring other engineers.
